PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Tony Graziani threw a franchise-record nine touchdown passes to help the Philadelphia Soul open the Arena Football League season with a 77-56 victory over the Orlando Predators on Saturday night.
Graziani was 15-of-22 for 257 yards in front of the Wachovia Center crowd of 17,689 fans, Larry Brackins had six catches for 133 yards and three TDs, and Chris Jackson had six receptions for 78 yards and four scores.
Soul kick returner Mike Brown had a 56-yard runback for a touchdown and another 50-yarder to set up a fourth-quarter touchdown.
Orlando's Shane Stafford was 31-of-45 for 323 yards and eight touchdowns, four each to Chas Gessner and T.T. Toliver.
