SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -Mark Grieb threw five touchdown passes - three to James Roe - in the defending ArenaBowl champion San Jose SaberCats' 61-40 victory over the winless Utah Blaze on Friday night.
Grieb was 21-of-33 for 311 yards, and Roe finished with four catches for 56 yards. Cleannord Saintil led the SaberCats (4-4) in receiving with eight catches for 128 yards and a TD, and Rodney Wright had nine receptions for 104 yards.
Joe Germaine threw three touchdown passes for the Blaze (0-8).
