NEW ORLEANS (AP) -Danny Wimprine threw seven touchdown passes and the New Orleans VooDoo took advantage of eight Tampa Bay turnovers to beat the Storm 76-55 on Sunday in the Arena Football League.
The Voodoo (2-1) pulled away in the second quarter. They shut out the Storm (2-1) in the period, while Lauvale Sape scored on a net recovery and Wendall Williams returned a missed field goal 57 yards for a score as time expired to make it 48-14.
Wimprine was 18-of-35 for 222 yards, while Tampa Bay's Brett Dietz was 27-of-44 for 328 yards and five touchdowns with two interceptions.
Lin-J Shell led the VooDoo with eight solo tackles and added a 35-yard interception return. Keon Raymond had an interception and seven solo tackles, and Michale Spicer tied a club record with three sacks.
