Team Betting Notes
-- Orlando (7-0) stayed perfect last week but it wasn’t easy. The Predators held off Tampa Bay 42-40 and never had a chance of covering as a 23 ½-point favorite. The offensive effort for Orlando was the lowest of the season. Tampa Bay (0-6) remains winless despite scoring a season-high 40 points in the loss. The ‘under’ has cashed in all six games for the Storm.
-- Philadelphia (6-1) held off a late rally by Arizona and captured a 65-58 victory over Arizona (5-2). The Soul have now won five straight games and produced a 4-1 record against the spread during this run. The loss for the Rattlers was their second straight after opening the season with a 5-0 record. Arizona has surrendered 77 and 65 during the back-to-back losses and that lack of defense helped the ‘over’ connect in both games.
-- Cleveland (3-3) defeated Portland 55-48 in overtime in Week 7 as a 6 ½-point home favorite. The Gladiators led 48-28 after three quarters but the Steel rallied with 20 unanswered points to force the extra session. Portland (0-6) remains winless with four of those losses coming on the road. Cleveland has won two straight and is now 3-3 at home.
-- The Jacksonville Sharks (2-4) and LA Kiss (3-3) were both on bye in Week 7.
