Team Betting Notes
Jacksonville got back to .500 (4-4) on the season with a 59-56 win over Orlando as a 4-point road underdog. The game barely went 'under' (115.5) even though both teams combined for 47 points in the final quarter. The Predators (7-2) have now lost two straight after winning their first seven games of the season. The Sharks have seen the 'under' connect in four consecutive games.
Cleveland (5-4) captured its fourth straight game after defeating Philadelphia 63-49 as a 12-point home underdog. The Gladiators were listed as high as plus-650 (Bet $100 to win $650) on the money-line. Philadelphia (7-2) was caught in the proverbial letdown spot after beating Orlando last week at home. It was the first road loss of the season for the Soul while the Glads improved to 4-3 at home.
Portland (0-8) had a chance to win its first game of the season but the LA Kiss (4-4) outscored them 26-7 in the final quarter as they earned a 54-42 home win and cover (-11.5) in Week 9. The KISS are now 3-1 at home and the 'under' has cashed in seven of their first eight games.
Tampa Bay (1-7) earned its first win of the season in Week 9 as it upset Arizona 63-56 as a huge 20-point home underdog. Some betting shops had the Storm listed as high as 11/1 underdogs in this matchup. The Rattlers (6-3) have dropped three of their last four, all on the road, and are 1-5 against the spread in their last six games.
