Gladiators hand Soul their first loss

CLEVELAND (AP) -Raymond Philyaw and the Cleveland Gladiators ended Philadelphia's season-opening winning streak at nine, beating the Soul 67-55 Friday night in the Arena Football League.
Philyaw was 25-of-30 for 290 yards and five touchdowns for the Gladiators (5-4). Otis Amey had seven catches for 109 yards and four scores and Marlion Jackson ran for four TDs.
Philadelphia's Matt D'Orazio completed 16 of 21 passes for 141 yards and three touchdowns, and added a rushing score, but was lost to an injury in the third quarter. Tony Graziani went 14-for-21 for 137 yards and three TDs, but fumbled with a minute to play and the Soul down six.
Larry Brackins had 13 catches for 133 yards and two TDs for Philadelphia (9-1).
