Predators win, but fail to cover

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Shane Stafford threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Ron Johnson with 4 seconds left to give the Orlando Predators a 58-51 victory over the Kansas City Brigade on Sunday in the Arena Football League.
``We had our ups and downs in this game,'' Orlando coach Jay Gruden said after his team overcame five turnovers - four fumbles and an interception - to improve to 8-4. ``Ron Johnson made a great play to get us the win.''
Stafford was 22-of-34 for 305 yards and five touchdowns and ran for a score. Johnson finished with seven catches for 68 yards and the score.
D. Bryant was 17-of-28 for 188 yards and a touchdown and ran for 49 yards and five TDs for the Brigade (2-9).
