Rampage triumph in high-scoring affair

NEW ORLEANS (AP) -James MacPherson threw seven touchdown passes and ran for three other scores, leading the Grand Rapids Rampage to the playoffs for the first time since 2003 with an 86-70 win over the New Orleans VooDoo on Saturday night.
William ``Roc'' Haith had two interceptions and Chris Johnson had two touchdown catches for the Rampage (6-10), who have won three straight.
Danny Wimprine threw for 358 yards and eight TDs, and Javarus Dudley had eight catches for 138 yards and two scores for the VooDoo (8-8). New Orleans' loss clinched a playoff spot for the Orlando Predators (9-7), who have been in the postseason 17 straight seasons.
