INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Howie Mandel is helping introduce drivers to the crowd during his first trip to the Indianapolis 500, but he isn't picking a favorite among them.
Asked his favorite heading into Sunday's race, the ``America's Got Talent'' judge chose french fries and beer. Mandel says he feels like he's in the midst of the biggest event in the world with the crowd of a couple hundred thousand people around him.
Singer Olivia Newton-John arrived at the speedway with her racing nephew, Emerson Newton-John.
Olivia Newton-John was the grand marshal in Saturday's 500 Festival parade. That came a day after her nephew drove in the Indy Lights Freedom 100 at the speedway.
She says she hopes to see Emerson racing in the Indy 500 soon.
