ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (AP) - Driver Eric McClure has received medical clearance to resume racing when the NASCAR Nationwide Series visits Road America this weekend.
McClure has missed the last six races after he sustained a concussion and internal bruising in an accident at Talladega Superspeedway on May 5. Jeff Green drove the No. 14 Toyota in McClure's absence.
McClure says he's ``very excited and thankful'' to be back behind the wheel.
Nationwide races at Road America, a four-mile road course in Wisconsin, start Saturday afternoon.
