HOCKENHEIM, Germany (AP) - Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen says he is feeling no ill effects from his spectacular crash at the British Grand Prix.

The Silverstone race two weeks ago was held up for an hour after Raikkonen lost control, spun, hit the barriers and collided with Felipe Massa's Williams in the opening lap. The Finn limped away and required X-rays on his right ankle.

''I had some pain but it's all fine,'' Raikkonen said on Thursday. ''Actually it was in my ribs the most, that's why I didn't do the (Silverstone) test, but it's all gone away now.''

Raikkonen has endured a frustrating season - he's 12th in the drivers' championship - but he is confident his fortune will change.

''It must, it cannot go much longer like this. It's not fun,'' he said.

''But this kind of thing has happened to me before, and we always managed to turn it around, so I have a strong belief. We have to just fix issues and get things as I want, and I'm sure we can be back where we should be.''

Raikkonen said he wasn't worried his position at Ferrari could be under threat.

''I have a contract so I'm not worried about that for the future,'' he said.
