MEXICO CITY (AP) -Sebastien Loeb of France has won the Mexico Rally for his fourth victory in the race and the 55th of his career.
Loeb finished the three-day rally ahead of Petter Solberg of Norway and Sebastien Ogier, also from France. All three were driving Citroens.
Sunday's victory for the six-time defending series champion gives him a six-point lead at the top of the drivers standing ahead of Mikko Hirvonen. Hirvonen finished fourth on Sunday and Jari-Matti Latvala was fifth. Both of them were driving Fords.
The Frenchman built up a 50-second lead after two days and finished 24.2 seconds ahead of Solberg and 25.3 in front of Ogier.
