LAS VEGAS (AP) -Miguel Cotto understands he's not the star of the show when he takes on Manny Pacquiao in a 145-pound fight that could well be the biggest of the year.
After all, he's making just half the money Pacquiao is getting. And he had to agree to fight two pounds under his normal weight to get the fight.
But if people don't think he has a chance of winning, Cotto plans to prove them wrong. He's spent months training for the biggest fight of his career, and he wants to show that his only loss to Antonio Margarito was a fluke.
Pacquiao is more than a 2-to-1 favorite in Saturday night's fight at the MGM Grand. The Filipino star is coming off a stoppage of Oscar De La Hoya and a knockout of Ricky Hatton.
