Where will T.O. land?
November 9, 2005
By Sportsbook.com
New York, New York (November 9, 2005) – Sportsbook.com has posted odds on where suspended wide receiver Terrell Owens will play in the NFL next season. After a tumultuous start to the 2005 season, Owens’ relationship with his club have deteriorated to the point where head coach Andy Reid doesn’t want the disruptive player back in his line-up. Now all eyes are on where Terrell will end up next year.
“This is new territory for the NFL, and no one really knows where the disenchanted Eagle will land,” said Alex Czajkowski, Marketing Director, Sportsbook.com. “Football fans everywhere will want to weigh in and wager on who will be the next club to adopt one of the NFL’s most colorful and outspoken players.”
Terrell Owens is a native of Alabama and spent his NCAA years at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Despite his southern roots, Denver is also the favorite with Atlanta, as the 8-1 favorite cities Owens may suit up for. The Baltimore Ravens follow at 10-1 and Washington, Tampa Bay and Oakland all sit at 12-1. Also at 12-1 is the bettor’s option that T.O. does not play in the NFL in 2006.
“Everybody bets on football at Sportsbook.com, and we think our NFL fans are going to be excited to wager on the controversial story out of Philadelphia.” added Czajkowski.
