Sportingbet.com has unveiled its Live Betting schedule for Week 1 of the NCAA College Football season, and it all starts Thursday with two opening-night tilts.
College Football betting fans can wager tonight on the North Carolina State Wolfpack taking on the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Oregon State Beavers visiting the Stanford Cardinal using Sportingbet.com’s IN:PLAY betting.
Additional Week 1 games available for Live Betting include SMU at Rice on Friday, and Virginia Tech visiting East Carolina, USC Trojans at Virginia, and Illinois at Missouri, all on Saturday.
And Sportingbet.com is also featuring a Viewers’ Choice matchup on Saturday, as football bettors can vote on whether they’d like to wager live on the Alabama Crimson Tide at the Clemson Tigers, or the Michigan State Spartans at the California Golden Bears.
Sportingbet.com has the Gamecocks as a 13½-point favorite in Thursday’s opener (8 pm ET, ESPN). Last season, North Carolina State went 5-7 SU and 5-6 ATS. South Carolina wasn’t much better, at 6-6 SU and 5-5-1 ATS.
The Beavers will be 3-point road favorites when they face the Stanford Cardinal in their opener Thursday night (9 pm ET, ESPN2). Oregon State had a solid season last year, going 9-4 SU and 8-4 ATS, while Stanford struggled at 4-8 SU and 5-7 ATS. Oregon State is 6-1 SU in the past seven meetings.
On Saturday, Live Betting will be available when the USC visits Virginia, with the Trojans 19½-point road favorites (3:30 pm ET, ABC).
USC won its sixth straight Pac-10 title last season, capped by a 49-17 Rose Bowl victory over the Big Ten champion Illinois Fighting Illini. USC is ranked third in the Associated Press Top 25 and the CBSSports.com 120 polls and second in the Coaches Poll, heading into the 2008 season. Virginia was 9-4 SU and 6-7 ATS last season.
In the Viewers’ Choice matchup on Saturday, the Clemson Tigers are 4½-point favorites against the Alabama Crimson Tide in a neutral site game at the Georgia Dome (8 pm ET, ABC).
Alabama was 7-6 SU and 3-8-1 ATS last season, while Clemson was 9-4 SU and 6-6 ATS.
