The injury to the Clippers’ Blake Griffin opens the door for Rookie of the Year betting at BroburySports.com.
This is one of several NBA props released for this season. Check out the full list here at BroburySports.com
Blake Griffin (1/2) – L.A. Clippers
The curse of the Clippers continues as Griffin is out several weeks with a fractured kneecap. Surprisingly, the odds for this prop have not been adjusted yet, creating a good betting opportunity.
Tyreke Evans (9/2) – Sacramento
Evans is a big 6’6” point guard who should see a lot of minutes. If Evans can limit his turnovers, he has a decent shot for this award.
Stephen Curry (9/2) – Golden State
Curry is going to start at point with Monta Ellis at shooting guard. Curry has a great chance to put up big numbers in the Warriors’ high powered offense.
James Harden (11/2) – Oklahoma City
Harden was considered a safe pick for the franchise. However, he’s in a battle with Thabo Sefolosha for minutes and that drags his chances down.
Jonny Flynn (11/2) – Minnesota
Flynn is the starting point guard, although Ramon Sessions is still in the picture. Flynn has had trouble learning the complicated triangle offense, a worrying sign.
DeMar DeRozan (15/1) – Toronto
DeRozan has tons of talent, but is battling Antoine Wright for swingman minutes. DeRozan is an interesting selection at these odds.
Tyler Hansbrough (20/1) – Indiana
The North Carolina product is dealing with a shin injury and will miss the beginning of the season. The 20/1 odds look optimistic right now.
Terrence Williams (20/1) – New Jersey
Williams’ role and minutes are still to be determined, but he has showed a lot of promise so far and is excellent value at these odds.
Ty Lawson (25/1) – Denver
Lawson looks to have a solid NBA career ahead of him. He’ll be a great longshot pick if Chauncey Billups goes down to injury.
Brandon Jennings (25/1) – Milwaukee
Jennings will likely split point guard minutes with Luke Ridnour, at least early on. Jennings is very talented, but still raw for the position.
