Florida (-15) vs. Georgia – 3:30 pm ET
This game is played annually in the neutral Jacksonville location and is nicknamed the ‘World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party’. The Gators have historically dominated this matchup, but Georgia is 2-3 straight-up (SU) and 3-2 ATS the last five years.
Top-ranked Florida (7-0 SU, 3-3 ATS) is on a collision course to meet Alabama in the SEC championship game. The Gators failed to cover last week at Mississippi State, breaking an 11-0 ATS road streak. This is a big spread to cover given the offense has only broken 30 points once in the last five games.
Georgia (4-3 SU, 2-5 ATS) was the 13th ranked team in the preseason, but is comfortably outside the Top 25 now. The Bulldogs broke a two-game SU losing streak with a 34-10 win at Vanderbilt two weeks ago. They need a good showing to prove they still have the makings of an elite program.
USC (-3) at Oregon – 7:45 pm ET
Every game is like a playoff for USC as a loss ends their national title hopes. Note that USC is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings between the teams.
USC (6-1 SU, 2-5 ATS) is ranked 4th in the AP, but 5th in the BCS. The only game they have covered in the last six was a 30-3 win at California. USC has also struggled on the road in the conference, going 1-6 ATS. That’s another reason why the spread is only a field goal.
No. 10 Oregon (6-1 SU, 5-2 ATS) is unbeaten since an opening night loss at Boise State. They rely on the nation’s 14th ranked rushing attack and 19th overall defense. The Ducks are 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games as a home underdog. They are 5-0 ATS in their last five games overall and 6-0 ATS in their last six Pac-10 games.
Texas (-9) at Oklahoma State – 8 pm ET
Texas is ranked 3rd in the country, but the top two teams are from the SEC (Alabama, Florida). The Longhorns can make the title game if they run the table and this could be their hardest game left.
Texas is 7-0 SU, but 2-4-1 ATS. However, they are coming on strong with a ‘push’ against Oklahoma two weeks ago and a throttling at Missouri (41-7) last week. Quarterback Colt McCoy was very accurate against Missouri (26-31) and that’s a key against OSU as well.
No. 14 Oklahoma State (6-1 SU, 3-2-1 ATS) hasn’t given up its season even with wide receiver Dez Bryant suspended. The Cowboys are on a five-game winning streak SU, albeit against some questionable competition. Still, being almost a double-digit favorite on the road is a big test for Texas.
