The Florida Gators remain the favorite for the BCS Championship, but watch out for the Texas Longhorns. Catch the latest odds at BroburySports.com.
Florida Gators (+120)
Florida (8-0 SU) took care of business by beating Georgia last week, 41-7. They’re a huge 33.5 point favorite over Vanderbilt on Saturday and that’s followed by a somewhat dangerous road game at South Carolina. A 12-0 regular season, and a trip to the SEC title game, looks in the cards.
Texas Longhorns (+200)
Texas (8-0 SU) moved to second in the BCS after winning at Oklahoma State 41-14. The Longhorns beat up Missouri the prior week 41-7. Texas should win the rest of their games, including the Big 12 title game, and move onto the national championship.
Alabama Crimson Tide (+250)
Alabama (8-0 SU) should meet Florida in the SEC championship game, but first they need to beat LSU this week as nine-point favorites. Upcoming road tilts at Mississippi State and rival Auburn could also be stumbling blocks.
Oregon Ducks (+600)
Pac-10 Oregon (7-1 SU) has one loss on the year, 19-8 on opening night at Boise State. The Ducks just crushed USC and should win their last four games to go 11-1. However, they seem overvalued at these odds given their No. 8 BCS ranking.
Iowa Hawkeyes (+1500)
Iowa is 9-0 SU after a come-from-behind win over Indiana. The Hawkeyes, ranked fourth in the BCS, are 16.5-point home favorites over Northwestern this week. They have a very tough game in two weeks at Ohio State, and they must start playing more consistently.
TCU Horned Frogs (+2000)
TCU (8-0 SU) is out of the Mountain West Conference. They already blew out ranked BYU on the road 38-7, and will get No. 14 Utah at home in a couple of weeks. The Horned Frogs will move up from their No. 6 BCS ranking if any team loses above them.
Boise State Broncos (+2000)
Boise State (8-0 SU) should run the table in the rest of their WAC games to stay undefeated. The problem is they’re ranked seventh, which is behind TCU in the BCS, and TCU is likely to stay perfect as well.
Penn State Nittany Lions (+2000)
Penn State (8-1 SU) is a one-loss Big Ten team that is ranked 11th in the BCS. They are four-point home favorites over Ohio State this week, and they are another team who seem overvalued at these odds.
Cincinnati Bearcats (+3000)
Big East Cincinnati (8-0 SU) hosts Connecticut this week as 17-point favorites. They still have to play Pittsburgh and West Virginia later on, and it looks like quarterback Tony Pike will be back by then. The Bearcats are currently ranked fifth in the BCS and have some value at these longer odds.
