NBA Rookie of the Year
We’re just a few weeks into the NBA season, but there’s been a major shakeup in the Rookie of the Year odds at BroburySports.com.

Brandon Jennings (+150) Milwaukee
Jennings is the solid favorite after opening up as a +2500 longshot. Jennings, who played in Italy last year, is averaging 25.6 points, 5.1 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game. He just dropped 55 points on Golden State over the weekend.
Tyreke Evans (+300) Sacramento
Evans opened at +450 odds and has dropped slightly. The big 6’6” point guard is playing on a Sacramento team playing better than expected. He’s putting up very good numbers (16.4 points, 4.4 assists and 4.3 rebounds) so far.
Jonny Flynn (+400) Minnesota
Flynn opened up at +550 odds. The Timberwolves really struggling out of the gate, but don’t blame the point guard who is averaging 15 points, 3.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds. Maybe Ricky Rubio staying overseas was a good thing.
Blake Griffin (+500) L.A. Clippers
Griffin was the heavy favorite before the year, but he is out until early December with a fracture in his knee cap. Griffin is likely to be dazzling upon his return, but will it be too late to make a run for this award?
Ty Lawson (+500) Denver
Lawson is another guy shooting up the oddsboard, opening up at +2500. He has contributed an impressive 10 PPG off the bench, but his upside is limited backing up Chauncey Billups. These odds look overvalued.
Stephen Curry (+600) Golden State
Curry’s odds are going the wrong way, he opened at +450. The slender point guard is averaging 5.4 assists, but only 8.7 points. He is hesitant offensively out on the floor, not taking a lot of shots, and that hurts his chances for the award.

James Harden (+1500) Oklahoma City. 5.9 PPG off the bench.
Terrence Williams (+1500) New Jersey. Improving at 10 PPG, 6.1 rebounds.
DeMar DeRozan (+3000) Toronto. 5.3 PPG off the bench.
Tyler Hansbrough (+4000) Indiana. 12 PPG, 6.5 rebounds coming back from injury.
