Indianapolis Colts (Even) at Baltimore Ravens
Indianapolis got the miracle win against New England last week, but you have to give Peyton Manning credit for getting it done. Baltimore is coming off a 16-0 win at Cleveland on MNF.
Indianapolis (9-0 SU, 5-3-1 ATS) is 0-2-1 ATS in its last three games and could easily be 0-3 ATS. Baltimore (5-4 SU, 6-3 ATS) lost four of five games before the Cleveland contest. The Ravens were one of the best NFL teams the first three weeks, and the talent is there.
Atlanta Falcons at NY Giants
Atlanta just dropped a winnable game in Carolina. Running back Michael Turner hurt his ankle and is doubtful for this game. The Giants just enjoyed a bye week.
Atlanta (5-4 SU, 6-3 ATS) will have to rely on Matt Ryan to throw if Turner is indeed out. They are 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS on the road this year. The Giants (5-4 SU, 4-4-1 ATS) needed the rest as they’re 0-4 SU and ATS in their last four contests.
NY Jets (+10.5) at New England Patriots
Each team is coming off a brutal loss. The Jets lost at home to Jacksonville and now they’ve dropped five of six. New England absolutely blew a game at Indianapolis they should have won.
New England (6-3 SU, 5-4 ATS) lost at the Jets (4-5 SU, 4-5 ATS) early in the season. The oddsmakers feel payback is in order which is why the spread is double-digits. The mental psyche of the Pats is in question after the Indy game.
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos
The spread for this game is not released yet as Denver quarterback Kyle Orton has an ankle injury. Orton should go, but Chris Simms will get start if he can’t. That’s a scary thought for Denver fans.
Denver (6-3 SU, 6-3 ATS) beat San Diego (6-3 SU, 4-5 ATS) earlier in the season on the road, but they have now lost three straight. The Chargers are tied for the AFC West lead with Denver and they have won four in a row. This should be a good one.
