Team Betting Notes
-- Saskatchewan (8-1) finally got back on track againts the spread. The Roughriders covered their first five games, but failed to cover their past three until their 48-25 win over Winnipeg (1-8). They meet the Blue Bombers again next Sunday in Manitoba.
-- The Roughriders have averaged 34.7 ppg, highest in the CFL. They'll have a rematch against the Blue Bombers, who have averaged 21.3 ppg, lowest in the CFL.
-- While Edmonton (1-8) is tied for the worst straight-up record in the CFL, the Eskimos continue to be a feisty bunch. The Esks have lost their past five games by a total of just 15 points, and they have covered three in a row.
-- The 'over' has also cashed in seven of Edmonton's nine games this season, the most 'overs' of any team in the CFL. They lost a 37-34 heartbreaker to Calgary (7-2) in Week 10, and will meet the Stampeders again next week at home. The 'over' is 6-3 in Calgary's nine games, so a high-scoring affair is likely yet again.
-- Hamilton (3-6) played a winning team for the first time in four weeks, and they were back on the losing end of things. The BC Lions (6-3) posted a 29-26 win at home, but the Ti-Cats have now covered four consecutive games.
-- Montreal (4-5) stopped Toronto 20-9 on Tuesday night, cashing tickets as a six-point road underdog. The victory for the Alouettes was their first back-to-back win of the season and second on the road. Toronto (5-4) has now dropped two straight games after winning four in a row. The Argonauts are now 3-3 at home.
