FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Rotnei Clarke and Julysses Nobles scored 16 points each as Arkansas pulled away in the second half for a 73-64 win over Auburn on Tuesday night.
The Razorbacks (13-6, 3-3 Southeastern Conference) are now 12-0 in Fayetteville this season, their best start at home since a 15-0 mark during the 1997-98 season.
Earnest Ross scored 15 points to lead the Tigers (7-13, 0-6), who lost their sixth straight and went more than 11 minutes without a field goal to open the second half.
Arkansas led 34-30 at halftime, and Marshawn Powell scored five straight points to start the second half for the Razorbacks, who went on a 21-1 run and extend their lead to 55-31.
The teams traded the lead 12 times in the first half, and neither led by more than three points until Rickey Scott put Arkansas up 32-28 with 1:22 left in the half.
