FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Marvelle Harris converted a pair of free throws with 2:19 left in overtime to put Fresno State ahead for, helping to forge a 96-86 win over CSU-Bakersfield in the Fresno Classic tournament Saturday night.
The Bulldogs converted 8 of 10 from the line in overtime to pull away.
Allen Huddleston and Cezar Guerro had 23 and 22 points, respectively for Fresno State, playing in the 29th edition of its own holiday tournament. Harris finished with 14 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
Issiah Grayson had 20 points for Bakersfield, and Brandon Barnes came off the Roadrunners' bench to add another 20. Stefon Johnson had 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
Bakersfield's Matt Ratto drilled a 3-pointer with seven seconds left in regulation to force overtime.
Fresno State (5-3) bounced back from a 10-point loss to Drake Friday and closes out the three-game tournament against Northern Arizona Sunday.
