The game was tied at 25 at halftime, but Columbia jumped out to 39-29 in the second half when Daniels converted a three-point play with 15:31 left.

The Big Green (5-13, 1-3) never threatened the rest of the way against the Lions, who held them to 24 percent shooting (6 of 25) from the floor in the second half after Dartmouth shot over 41 percent before halftime.

Columbia didn't do much from the floor, shooting 38.5 percent for the game, but made 20 of its 25 free throws.

Jabari Trotter led Dartmouth with 12 points and R.J. Griffin added 10.
