SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Kyle Weems finished with 23 points and scored on a layup with 13.3 seconds left to lift Missouri State to a 67-66 victory over Creighton on Saturday.
Weems added 12 rebounds and Jermaine Mallett had 14 points and a key steal for the Bears (16-4, 8-1 Missouri Valley), who won their 19th straight home.
Antoine Young scored 18 points and Doug McDermott had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Bluejays (13-8, 5-4), who led by 15 in the second half before Missouri State rallied.
After McDermott's jumper made it 66-65 with 44 seconds left, Weems scored on an in-bounds play. Mallett then came up with a steal on the other end of the court, and Adam Leonard dribbled out the clock.
Missouri State trailed 46-31 with 17:01 to play and didn't take its first lead until Mallett's jumper with 1:14 remaining made it 65-64.
