NORMAL, Ill. (AP) - John Wilkins scored 15 points and Illinois State defeated Drake 77-75 in overtime on Sunday.

Austin Hill's two free throws with 1:09 to play in overtime held up as the winning points for Illinois State (11-11, 3-8 Missouri Valley). Neither team scored again.

Illinois State's Anthony Cousin was fouled attempting a 3-pointer with 7 seconds left in regulation and made three free throws to tie the game at 69.

Hill and Trey Blue scored 11 points each for the Redbirds and Jackie Carmichael had 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Ben Simons led Drake (8-14, 3-8) with 18 points. Rayvonte Rice scored 17 points.

Illinois State led 56-43 with 9:10 remaining before the Bulldogs closed in with a 15-4 run.

The Redbirds have won three straight and Drake has lost six of seven - with its only win coming over Illinois State, 76-68, in Des Moines on Jan. 18.
