MADISON, Wis. (AP) -Jason Bohannon had seven 3-pointers and a career-high 30 points to help No. 11 Wisconsin rebound from a surprising home loss by routing Indiana 83-55 on Saturday.

Trevon Hughes added 16 points and Wisconsin (19-6, 9-4 Big Ten) showed no lingering effects after a loss to Illinois on Tuesday, their first after 51 straight wins against unranked conference foes at home under coach Bo Ryan.

In this one, Wisconsin pummeled Indiana (9-15, 3-9) from the start and handed the Hoosiers their worst loss this season. Indiana, which has dropped six straight, committed 21 turnovers.

Christian Watford scored 15 points on 4-of-12 shooting to lead the Hoosiers, who have lost their last three to Northwestern, Ohio State and Wisconsin by a combined 62 points.

Wisconsin remains one game behind Michigan State for first place in the Big Ten. Either Illinois or Ohio State will join the Spartans at the top after their Sunday matchup, while Purdue is also in the mix in the five-team race.

The Badgers have arguably the easiest schedule remaining with their next four games against teams with losing conference records before a rematch with the Illini in Champaign, Ill., to end the regular season.

Wisconsin certainly didn't look past Indiana in its first test down the stretch.

Hughes opening the scoring with a 3 and reached double figures 5 1/2 minutes in as the Badgers raced to a 17-3 lead.

Indiana came in averaging 15.1 turnovers per game. Jeremiah Rivers committed a turnover on the Hoosiers first possession, Indiana had five before the midway point of the first half and 10 at halftime.

Indiana committed offensive fouls on the first two possessions of the second half on its way to 21 turnovers.

All the mistakes were more than enough for the Badgers, who thrive on efficient, methodical play and converted the errors into a 29-8 scoring advantage.

Bohannon, who went 7 of 11 from 3-point range, made two 3s in the first half around two free throws by Hughes. Jordan Taylor, who had 11 points, ran down an errant pass from Indiana's Jordan Hulls for an easy layup that made it 27-7.

Wisconsin led 46-24 at halftime, and the only thing that seemed to slow down Wisconsin was when Indiana center Tijan Jobe poked Hughes in the left eye just before halftime.

In the second half, Bohannon scored 16 points, leaving to a standing ovation with 4:34 to play as Wisconsin led by as many as 35 in the closing minutes.

Ryan improved to 67-6 against Big Ten opponents at the Kohl Center, and won his fifth straight against Indiana. He is 7-3 in matchups with Crean, who coached 75 miles east at Marquette from 1999-08.
