BROOKINGS, S.D. (AP) - Clint Sargent had 24 points as South Dakota State dominated IPFW 87-52 on Saturday.
The Jackrabbits (13-7, 5-4 Summit) opened the game with a 3-pointer from Nate Wolters and never trailed, leading by as much as 40 points in the second half.
Dale Moss added 17 points, Jordan Dykstra 12 and Wolters 10 for South Dakota State, which hit 10 of 24 3-point attempts and was 17 for 19 from the free-throw line.
Frank Gaines had 14 points and Oleg Kovalov 12 for IPFW (12-7, 6-3), which was just 2 of 16 on 3-point attempts and shot 35 percent overall from the field.
South Dakota State led 42-22 at halftime and had its biggest margin when Aireus Stephenson hit a pair of free throws to make it 69-29 with 9:05 remaining.
