CHARLESTON, Ill. (AP) - Jeremy Bynum scored 18 points, including four 3-pointers, to lift Jacksonville State over Eastern Illinois 56-46 on Saturday night.
The Gamecocks (4-18, 2-9 Ohio Valley) took the lead six seconds before halftime when Bynum hit a 3-pointer to make it 21-19. They led the entire second half and took their largest lead of 13 points with 1:15 to go.
Nick Murphy scored 17 points and Stephen Hall 13 for Jacksonville State.
Shaun Pratl and Jeremy Granger led the Panthers (8-13, 4-7) with 14 points each.
The Panthers grabbed a 34-29 rebounding advantage.
