KENT, Ohio (AP) - Rayshawn Goins had his fourth double-double of the season and James Madison used a second-half spurt to pull away from Kent State 60-51 on Friday.
Goins had 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Dukes (10-3), who snapped the Golden Flashes' 15-game home winning streak - which included six victories this season. The streak started Jan. 20 and was tied for 10th longest in the country.
James Madison won its fourth straight game and fifth road game of the season.
Kent State (9-5) led 28-27 at halftime. Trailing 32-31, the Dukes used a 16-2 run, including seven points from Denzel Bowles, to lead 47-34 with 12:05 left.
The Golden Flashes could get no closer than eight despite holding the Dukes without a field goal following a Goins layup with 6:18 left.
Rodriguez Sherman led Kent State with 17 points and Justin Greene had a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
