DELAND, Fla. (AP) - Spencer Dixon's last-second layup beat the buzzer and lifted Kennesaw State to a 63-62 victory over Stetson Sunday.

Dixon took an inbound pass with 5.4 seconds left and dribbled nearly three-quarters the length of the court before putting the layup over two Stetson defenders. It was the 19th lead change of the game.

The Hatters had taken a 62-61 lead on Ridge Graham's layup with 6 seconds left. Luis Jacobo had gotten a defensive rebound and led the transition before dishing a pass to Graham.

Kelvin McConnell led Kennesaw State (5-12, 3-4 in Atlantic Sun Conference) with 16 points. Markeith Cummings added 14 points, Dixon had 11 and Aaron Anderson had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Jacobo paced Stetson (6-12, 4-4) with 16 points. Corey Walden chipped in 13 and Graham finished with 10. Steve Forbes had 13 rebounds.

Kennesaw State broke open the close game with a 10-0 run during a span of 4:17 midway through the second half to lead 46-37. But Stetson responded with an 11-0 run, taking a 48-46 lead on a Walden jumper with 6:40 to play.

The lead changed five more times down the stretch. After Graham's layup gave Stetson its 62-61 advantage, officials looked at replays to determine 0.8 seconds needed to be added to the game clock. That split second came into play as officials reviewed Dixon's shot to make sure the ball left his hand just before time expired.
