FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Rotnei Clarke scored 25 points, connecting on 5-of-6 3-pointers, as Arkansas made quick work of LSU in an 80-61 win on Saturday.
The victory snapped a three-game losing streak for the Razorbacks (15-9, 5-6 SEC), and it also gave them 15 wins for the first time in three seasons. They finished with 14 victories in each of the past two seasons.
The Tigers (10-15, 2-8) have now lost eight in a row, with their last victory coming over Arkansas at home on Jan. 12. Matt Derenbecker led LSU with 13 points.
Clarke had 15 points in the first half, during which Arkansas forced 14 LSU turnovers. The Razorbacks took a 40-22 halftime lead. The 25 points are the second-highest total by the junior this season, only behind the 36 he scored in a win at Vanderbilt on Jan. 29.
