SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Michael Williams set career highs with 23 points and 13 rebounds to lead San Francisco past Montana 50-48 in overtime Sunday.
It was the first collegiate double-double for Williams, a sophomore guard who scored USF's first 11 points of the second half.
Perris Blackwell also had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Dons (4-5). Blackwell scored USF's only basket in overtime, a putback at the 1:54 mark that gave the Dons the lead for good.
Derek Selvig matched his career high with 18 points for Montana (5-4), which lost for only the second time in its last seven games. Will Cherry had 13 points for the Grizzlies.
