MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) - Derek Selvig knocked down two free throws with 30 seconds to play, sealing a 57-47 victory for Montana over rival Montana State on Saturday night.
Art Steward led the Grizzlies with 14 points, Will Cherry added 13 and Selvig for Montana (22-6, 14-1 Big Sky), which won its 11th straight game and 17 of its last 18.
The Grizzlies' 14-1 conference record is a school standard.
Jeff Budinich led Montana State (11-16, 6-9) with 11 points and Rod Singleton added nine.
The Bobcats dropped their sixth straight game.
It took almost four minutes before either team found the bottom of the net. It was 6-6 midway through the first half.
