OGDEN, Utah (AP) - Scott Bamforth scored 15 of his game-high 18 points before halftime and Weber State hit a dozen 3-pointers on the way to beating Montana State 78-58 on Saturday.
Trevor Morris matched his career high with 17 points for the second game in a row for the Wildcats (12-9, 6-4 Big Sky), who have won three in a row.
Lindsey Hughey added 15 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for Weber State.
The Wildcats saw their streak of 42 games with at least five 3-pointers snapped Thursday night against Montana. On Saturday, they made 8 of 10 in the first half and finished 12 of 19 (63 percent). That was better than their overall field-goal percentage of 56 percent.
Erik Rush scored 15 points and Bobby Howard added 13 for Montana State (11-12, 5-6). The Bobcats shot 36 percent on Saturday and have lost their last five games.
