CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Willis Hall and Trent Wiedeman each scored 18 points and three other College of Charleston players scored in double figures in an 87-69 win over North Carolina-Greensboro on Saturday.
Antwaine Wiggins added 14 points and 11 rebounds, Monroe Donavan had 13 points and Andrew Goudelock chipped in 12 points for the Cougars (19-7, 12-2 Southern Conference). Goudelock had eight of the 13 assists by the Charleston, which turned it over just four times.
The Spartans (5-19, 5-9) had 16 turnovers, coupled with going 10 for 20 from the free-throw line, to spoil a good shooting night. UNC Greensboro shot 50 percent from the floor (26 of 52), including 43.8 percent from 3-point range (7 of 16).
The Cougars, ranked No. 14 nationally with a field goal percentage of 48.2, made 44.1 percent (30 of 68) of their shots against UNC Greensboro.
Trevis Simpson had 17 points for the Spartans.
