FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) - Trey McCorkle came off the bench to score 22 points and lead IPFW to a 73-61 victory over North Dakota State on Saturday.
The Mastodons (17-10, 10-6 Summit) led by as many as 19 points late in the second half on their way to snapping a two-game slide.
Frank Gaines, IPFW's leading scorer, chipped in with 18 points.
The Bison (13-14, 7-10) took a quick 4-0 lead and kept it close through most of the first half, but the Mastodons went ahead for good about two minutes before halftime.
Michael Tveidt led North Dakota State with 13 points while Drew Lundberg added 12.
