Date: January 19, 2011 7:00 PM EDT

NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Jamelle Hagins' dunk with 21 seconds left lifted Delaware over Northeastern 54-52 on Wednesday night.

The Blue Hens (9-8, 4-3 Colonial Athletic Association) trailed 52-45 with 3:46 to play before going on a 9-0 run the rest of the way. A three-point play by Kelvin McNeil sparked the game-winning spurt. After Hagins' dunk, the Huskies (4-14, 0-7) missed two jump shots, including one in the lane with 1 second left.

Hagins, who leads the conference in blocked shots (4.6 per game), had a career-high eight against the Huskies.

Joel Smith led Northeastern with 18 points.
