NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Steven Pledger scored 19 points, freshman Cameron Clark added a career-high 17 and Oklahoma overcame a hot start by Oral Roberts to rally for a 73-60 victory on Saturday.
The Sooners (5-5) trailed by 13 within the first 6 minutes but mounted an 18-0 comeback during an extended drought by the Golden Eagles late in the first half.
Oral Roberts (4-5) then cut a 10-point deficit to 40-38 in the second half, but the Sooners put together an 11-1 run to regain control.
Warren Niles led the Golden Eagles with 22 points, and Dominique Morrison and Steven Roundtree scored 11 apiece.
Andrew Fitzgerald scored 14, Carl Blair had 12 points and nine assists, and Cade Davis added 10 points for the Sooners.
