ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) -Hamady Ndiaye had 15 points and 13 rebounds Tuesday night as Rutgers overcame a 17-point deficit and snapped a 17-game road losing streak with a 68-64 victory over DePaul.
Mike Rosario had eight of his 11 points down the stretch for Rutgers (14-12 overall, 4-9 Big East), which had lost its previous 15 conference road games. Dane Miller added 14 points.
Mac Koshwal had 24 points, 12 rebounds and eight steals for DePaul (8-17, 1-12) but missed the front end of a 1-and-1 with 42.1 seconds left and his team down by two. The Blue Demons are 0-7 since beating Marquette on Jan. 20, their only regular-season Big East victory in the last two years.
Rosario's 3-pointer with 5:42 left gave Rutgers its first lead of the game, 58-57. DePaul's Mike Stovall made a short jumper to tie it at 60-all before Rosario hit another 3 with 3:23 remaining to put Rutgers ahead to stay.
