NEW YORK (AP) - Rico Pickett scored 19 points and Manhattan shot 60 percent from the field to defeat Saint Peter's 76-53 on Friday night.
The Jaspers (7-8, 2-3 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) made 30 of 50 field goal attempts and shot 63.6 percent in the second half (14-for-22) to snap a three-game losing streak.
Saint Peter's (7-8, 2-3) scored the first two points of the game on a Nick Leon steal and layup, then never led again while shooting 37.8 percent (17-for-45).
Manhattan led 40-26 at halftime and by as many as 29 points in the second half.
Darryl Crawford and Brandon Adams added 15 points apiece for the Jaspers. Antoine Pearson, who hit the game-winning basket in last year's 62-60 home victory over the Peacocks, scored 10.
Leon led Saint Peter's with 12 points.
Manhattan has played Saint Peter's 111 times, more than any other opponent, since 1922-23.
