Hernst Laroche scored 11 points and Daniel Mullings added 10 for New Mexico State (22-8, 9-3 WAC), which scored 10 unanswered points to begin the game and trailed only once for the remainder in a game where the final score was not an accurate reflection of the Aggies' dominance. The Aggies shot 49 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Spartans 45-34.
Wil Carter led San Jose State with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds.
