RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - Spencer Perrin and Justin Stommes scored 20 points apiece as Eastern Kentucky pulled away from Southeast Missouri State in the second half of a 77-64 win Thursday night, sweeping the season series.
Perrin also had nine rebounds for the Colonels (14-11, 8-6 Ohio Valley Conference), who have won seven straight over the Redhawks, including 64-52 on Jan. 15.
Eastern Kentucky, which has won three of its last four, led 31-28 at halftime.
The Colonels shot 64 percent from the field in the second half (16 of 25) and made 8 of 9 free throws. Southeast Missouri shot 53.6 percent from the field (15 of 28) after the break, but made only 5 of 13 free throws (38.5 percent).
Eastern Kentucky leads the OVC in free-throw shooting (74.6 percent) while the Redhawks (7-18, 5-9) rank lowest (63.4 percent).
Leon Powell and Anthony Allison scored 16 apiece to lead Southeast Missouri.
