TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Nikola Vucevic had 26 points and 12 rebounds, and Maurice Jones added 14 points to help Southern California beat Arizona State 63-61 Thursday night for a rare conference road win.
USC (12-9, 4-4 Pac-10) overcame a rash of early turnovers by getting the ball inside to Vucevic and held off the Sun Devils down the stretch to win for just the fifth time in its last 22 conference road games.
Arizona State (9-11, 1-7) overcame a rough night from the free-throw line - 12 for 25 - to keep it close until the end, but struggled to get a decent shot on its final possession while trailing by two.
Rihards Kuksiks had 22 and keyed a late run, while Ty Abbott had 19 points for the Sun Devils in their sixth straight conference loss.
