CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - Zach Bailey scored 23 points and Zac Swansey added 19 as Tennessee Tech defeated Southeast Missouri 93-86 Saturday night.
Kevin Murphy had 18 points and Alfred Jones 16 for the Golden Eagles (11-9, 7-4 Ohio Valley), who never trailed.
Marland Smith had 27 points to lead the Redhawks (5-17, 4-8), who have lost six straight. Lucas Nutt added 21 points, Leon Powell finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds and Anthony Allison also scored 14.
Trailing 81-72 with 3:50 remaining, Southeast Missouri closed the gap to four over the next two minutes but couldn't get any closer.
Tennessee Tech led by 12 in the first half before taking a 48-42 lead into halftime.
The Eagles shot 56.9 percent and outrebounded the Redhawks 37-31.
