Tied at 74, Tony Meier put Milwaukee ahead with a three-point play with 47 seconds to go.

Valparaiso then missed three 3s on its next possession before Howard Little hit two free throws to make it a one-point game with 20 seconds to play. After Meier missed two foul shots, the Crusaders got up two shots, but both missed and the Panthers prevailed.
