LOGAN, Utah (AP) - Kyisean Reed scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Utah State in a 75-66 victory over Seattle on Thursday night.
Utah State (12-1, 3-0 WAC) capitalized on Seattle's inability to take care of the basketball, scoring 26 points on 18 Redhawk turnovers.
The Aggies were 19 of 23 from the free-throw line and held off Seattle despite the Redhawks hitting 10 3-pointers and shooting 46.4 percent from the field in the game.
A Deshaun Sunderhaus dunk gave Seattle (5-7, 0-2) a 53-50 lead with 6:03 remaining in the game but the Aggies went on a 25-13 run from that point on. Spencer Butterfield gave Utah State a 55-53 lead on a 3-point basket with 5:08 to go and the Aggies never trailed again.
