LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (AP) - Anthony Myles made a 3-point shot that capped a 7-0 run and gave Rider the advantage it needed to come from behind and defeat Pennsylvania 89-88 on Sunday.
Rider trailed by seven points with 3:23 left to play. Myles hit a 3-pointer to cut the lead to four, after which Pennsylvania's Jamal Lewis hit two free throws. But Lewis's points would be the last of the game for the Quakers, and Rider went on a 7-0 run in the remaining 2:55 - four free throws from Daniel Stewart and Myles' game-winning trey - to squeak past Pennsylvania (2-8).
Myles finished with 16 points and Stewart scored 18 for the Broncs (6-5).
Julian Harrell scored 23 points after shooting 80 percent from the floor (8 of 10) for Pennsylvania and Miles Jackson-Cartwright added six treys. The Quakers missed three shot attempts in the final 2:20, and turned the ball over twice.
