Betting Matchup

The 11-6 Badgers have posted a 6-1 record both straight-up and against the spread in their last seven games. They beat Maryland at home 56-54 on Tuesday night closing as 2 ½-point favorites. They are 4-2 SU (3-3 ATS) in Big Ten play this season with another big win on the road against Ohio State. The total has stayed UNDER in five of Wisconsin’s last six games.

Junior guard Nate Reuvers leads the team in scoring with 13.9 points per game. He scored 17 points while shooting 46.7 percent from the field in Tuesday’s victory.

Michigan State holds a one-game lead in the conference standings at 5-1 SU. It is 13-4 SU (8-9 ATS) overall. The lone Big Ten loss came against Purdue on Sunday in a shocking 71-42 rout on the road as a 4 ½-point favorite. The next lowest scoring output this season was 62 points in an opening day loss to Kentucky. That loss snapped a SU eight-game winning streak and it was the first time the Spartans failed to cover in their last six contests.

Cassius Winston scored 10 of the team’s dismal 42-point performance against Purdue while turning the ball over nine times.
