New Mexico Bowl History

The New Mexico bowl began in 2006 and the matchup currently features schools from the Mountain West and Pac-12. In the 2013 installment, Colorado State pulled off an improbable comeback and captured a 48-45 win over Washington State. The Rams trailed by 15 with less than five minutes left in the game before closing with 18 unanswered points.

In its eight-year existence, bettors have watched the underdogs go 6-2 against the spread in this bowl and that includes five outright victories. The owner of the biggest upset was Wyoming, who defeated Fresno State 35-28 as a 10 ½-point underdog in 2006. This bowl has watched the ‘over’ cash the last six years.
